The materials I use when creating are mostly from Sápmi, the land of the Sàmi people. I work with materials from nature such as hides of different kinds, for example reindeer, fish, goat and lamb. Usual furs are seal, kid and mink. Also linen and wool, such as broadcloth and rough homespun are parts of my collection.

My favourite material when I create clothes, gloves and specially designed caps is reindeer hides of highest quality. Within the traditional Sámi handicraft it is the weaving of our colourful ribbons that I like the most, I also enjoy making our traditional clothes.

I am working with Sámi design which is a form of new thinking. It is important to distinguish between the clothes that I make and our traditional Sámi clothes.

My design fetches both inspiration from the Sámi colours and patterns and from my interest in clothes and fashion.

All Sámi craftsmen have according to
the tradition their own signature, which often are a combination of their own initials. My two ´s´ -s on top of each other are my mark,
which I embroid inside the lining of all the garments that I create.

I make modern quality clothes in Sámi design, according to the customer's wishes and personal measures. My creations involve everything from design and the making of patterns to cutting out and sewing. Every item thereby becomes unique…
